- Copilot, which in the English attempt (edu-monologues) provided the best results, seems to hallucinate.
- Very few Romanian monologues on Youtube and quite a few Shakespearean translations
- Must look into some Romanian movies, starting with “Sand Dunes” (Faleze de Nisip)
Let’s start with Copilot.
faleze
I wrote about Faleze.. (1983) as 3rd in my top 10 Romanian movies (Adrian Enescu’s music is also unforgettable). While looking for Youtube fragments from my fav movies, I’ve discovered the trailer, the full movie and even Ceausescu’s “critique” after having seen it. Like many other Romanian movies, it’s not that great for dialogues, but looking for a monologue is a good excuse to re-watch it.
I will continue to work on this article by refining the prompt, trying the other AIs and adding some texts from the YouTube playlist as well as from the knowledge of people I know.
*(*This article is unfinished – it was scheduled to appear in the hope that it will be finished before, but since this message is here and until it is removed, the article is to be considered work in progress*)*.
